St Swithun’s Day

Today is St Swithun’s Day. I’m sure we all know the drill – the weather on St Swithun’s Day will last with us for forty days. Now I don’t know if you’ve looked out of your window today, but here it is absolutely bucketing it down. Cheers St Swithun, thanks for that.

Today is also, in David Nicholl’s beautiful, gut-wrenching book One Day, the official day every year when we meet up with Dexter & Emma. If you haven’t read this and want a copy, please let me know – I have some left over books from this year’s World Book Night that I could send to you gratis, if you don’t mind it coming to you via second class post.
